Worst customer service, will say they want to renew your lease and then rent to someone else underneath of you

This place will not clean or fix anything, and the items that are fixed are done shoddy by their technicians. Their technicians will mark orders complete and never show up. This company will renew your lease and then turn around and rerent to someone else under the table and tell you that the homeowners decided to go in a different direction. There is no customer satisfaction, only illegal practices!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Costly neglect of property, long wait times, terrible customer service, shoddy maintenance work, zero accountability For more than 10 years we had a rental property managed by GoRenter and maintained by Go Maintenance. Until several years ago when the company was taken over by the current owners and the maintenance division spun out to be a standalone company, we had no overall complaints about the management. We live in another state and it was critical for us to have the property professionally managed. Once under its current ownership, the two companies (Go Renter and Go Maintenance) participated in total neglect of property, terrible customer service and zero accountability, which ended up costing us thousands of dollars. The delays in maintenance work also played a large role in prolonging our home sale, which we have now completed with a Go Renter realtor, who was the only competent and professional person we dealt with in this process. She tried to assist in getting Go Maintenance to complete their services properly, but to no avail. Most upsetting and frustrating is the conduct of Go Renter and Go Maintenance. They just dont seem to care. Their staff seems overwhelmedat least that is their excuse for taking weeks to schedule and complete work, or why work supposedly completed is never done properly, or at all. When the countless problems were brought to the attention of the current owners, the issues were immediately turned over to their attorney. No one from management or any owners ever reached out to us to hear about our experience or apologize. Bottom line, when you hire a property management company, you are placing trust in the company you are paying. If we had not been diligent, the losses we incurred because of their incompetence and terrible customers service could have ultimately ruined us financially. After this experience, I was surprised to see Go Renter has been able to maintain an A+ Better Business Bureau (BBB) rating. Perhaps people only know to voice their complaints with negative online reviews (which they have many) instead of going to the BBB to file a complaint. I can only hope that my BBB complaint will force these companies to start providing some quality of service and be accountable for the properties they are being paid to manage and maintain and that no one else will have to experience what we have.

Preferred solution: I wish for an apology and recognition for the months of costly and exhausting issues so that the owners truly understand how their staff is conducting business so no one else will have to go through what we did. We also are for the pool costs.

Bad property managers who don't care and only want money!

I have been so unhappy with the transition of this company, in 2017. They took over where I send my rental payments since the new owners bought the house I rent. They never inspected the property at the time of the new change of owners. To be made aware of all the prior needed repairs to the residence. They finally asked for a new lease to be signed in 2019? That consisted of a 25 page lease, indicating that they would not repair any of plumbing repairs, leakage and several items. As well as a daily charge of late fees, when they were aware of my the date of my fixed income each month. All repairs have still not been fixed? The person in their accounting department, is not friendly by any manner and is very disrespectful to any questions regarding my account. I have lived in this residence going on (9) years and have lived with the stress of a substandard type of living for sometime and they have been aware of the enduring conditions. They have refused to continue the service of roach and rodent infestations that have gone on for too long. This is partially the fault of having so many tenants in and out of the other properties adjacent. That have left the properties with these conditions, for others to endure unless treated properly. Which, is not the responsibility of a tenant!
